Mission

​Create a platform for professional and hobby beekeepers to share know-how and raise public awareness about the importance of bees in our daily life

Objectives

1. To educate the UAE public on:
   • The importance of the honeybee for the UAE and the global ecosystem
   • The importance of the honeybee as vital pollinators for UAE flora and commercial farmers
   • The role of Beekeepers as environmental protectors
   • The benefits of honey as a natural food source
2. To gain ‘protected status’ for the native Arabian Dwarf honeybee
3. To promote beekeeping best practices within the UAE
4. To provide educational support for UAE based beekeepers and encourage new ‘hobby/backyard’ beekeepers into the field
5. To promote the excellence of UAE honey to the global market
6. To align our association with UAE Vision 2021 launched by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai
